South Metro Chorale performs DET’s Digital Wonder Watch.
Mark Bilyeu conducts the South Metro Chorale in “Cut the Cord – From Screen to Green,”
Technology is all around us. We rely on it to communicate with others, and use it to access the media we consume. But what if we were to leave it all behind, and commune with Nature, and access its beauty? Join us as we offer a program celebrating technology, television and movies, and then leave it all behind and celebrate the writings of naturalist John Muir: ‘Father of our National Parks.’ This program of entirely living composers features DET’s Digital Wonder Watch, commissioned for the Minnesota All-State Chorus, as well as Minnesotans Libby Larsen & Jake Runestad.
